The Idea Fund is a pilot project where we are experimenting with entrepreneur support organization partnerships to invest in the companies they support. We have had initial success, funding and investing in over two dozen companies and look forward to scaling the fund in late 2023 / early 2024 ... stay tuned.
Through the Idea Fund, and on behalf of Kentucky, we partner with entrepreneur support organizations like accelerators, boot camps, and pitch competitions to invest in the companies they support. These partnerships allow us to leverage our dollars to further support Kentucky startups.
