Keyhorse Capital, in partnership with the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development’s statewide #KYInnovation program and as an initiative of Kentucky Science and Technology Corporation (KSTC), has announced that its current quarterly investment cycle is open through September 30th for eligible companies.
The windows for each quarterly investment cycle are:
- January 1 - March 31
- April 1 - June 30
- July 1 - September 30
- October 1 - December 31
Through the Kentucky Enterprise Fund and KSBCI 2.0, Keyhorse Capital and the Commonwealth of Kentucky have been investing in the future of Kentucky since 2002, leveraging over $88.4 million to support 285 Kentucky companies.
These funds make early-stage venture capital investments in high-growth startups and entrepreneurs based in or interested in relocating to Kentucky. Companies must be in the process of building an innovative, technology-enabled product, process, or service; have developed a prototype, be seeking product-market fit, or entering an early growth stage of development; and present a well-articulated market opportunity with some level of customer validation and a strong founding team.
In the second investment cycle of 2025, Keyhorse Capital announced $5.6M of investments in companies that included:
- Airtrek Robotics: Developer of autonomous mobile robots that enable complete automation of airport ground operations.
- Another Nine: 24/7 self-service indoor golf simulators, scaling through a tech-enabled franchise model with a lean, premium experience.
- Avana Health: Intrauterine delivery platform for treating Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB) and Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH).
- Due Gooder: A platform that helps students stay organized by automatically turning their class syllabi into calendars with deadlines and reminders.
- Ecoshell: Manufacturer of sustainable, eco-friendly packaging solutions made from natural materials.
- Its Only OneStop: All-in-one digital platform streamlining event planning by connecting users with private chefs, caterers, bartenders, and event professionals.
- MPI Digital: AI-powered platform that streamlines HR operations by providing on-demand access to policies, training materials, and process guidance to enhance employee engagement and operational efficiency.
- ParentMD: Pediatric-focused virtual care platform that addresses a gap in the parenting and healthcare space.
- Qualz AI: AI platform making qualitative research faster, more insightful, and affordable for data driven teams.
- Soaring Titan: Developer of an AI agent platform that automates research workflows using multi-agent collaboration..
- UnDesked: A workforce platform for deskless teams helping coordinate tasks, safety, and communication through mobile, kiosk, and signage-based tools.
- Visor Health: AI-assisted diagnostics and care coordination platform designed to empower non-specialist providers to deliver evidence-based orthopedic care.
- AquiSense: Advanced UV-C LED disinfection systems for water, air, and surface treatment applications
- GoodMaps: Indoor digital mapping platform improving the accessibility, safety, and productivity of indoor spaces.
- Kyndly Benefits: Developer of an automated health insurance decision support & enrollment assistance platform.
- ParkPay: Parking application for municipalities while enabling advertising options based on geomarketing.
- RedLeaf Biologics: Producer of sustainable, high-performance botanical extracts from non-GMO sorghum, targeting the health, food, beverage, and cosmetics industries.
- Revolution RE: SaaS platform that integrates and standardizes data across multiple property management systems, enabling real estate operators to access business intelligence, streamline operations, and license market data for better decision-making.
- Untitled: Data pipeline management software for data source connectivity, visualization/reporting, and business intelligence/analysis.
